oh my goodness, hello!!
i’m layla, and i’m the owner of this quirky little business. we’re houston, texas based and are SO excited to see our products end up near and far!
simply aesthete co. is my baby, pride and joy, and hopefully a fun little space for all of you! from pop culture inspired tees to funky little glasses, it always makes me a bit emotional seeing others enjoy physical products that have been made with lots of love by me.
if we go way back, this small biz actually planted her roots back in 2018 when i was a senior in my econ class. my teacher said alright kiddos, your project is to come up with a business plan and submit it in a few weeks. nothing more, nothing less, so i ran with it and never looked back. my love for music, film, arts and crafts has always been such a leading force in my life and i’m truly grateful to have parents who really pushed me to pursue my passions. so thank you mom & dad, y’all are THE best! outside of college and work, i spent nearly every free minute i had creating anything i could. we’re talking decals, invites, playlist, videos, apparel, etc.
once i graduated college, i quickly realized i wasn’t ready to give up the creativity that made life so great. so, i didn’t. i created even more, and now we’re here. so as much as i’d love to chit chat and give my whole backstory, my point is to never give up on your dream, passions, goals, and most importantly… yourself.
side note, mom & dad if you’re reading this thank you, thank you, thank you!! because without you two, i would have never found the courage to take the chance on myself and do this. so, cheers to your little girl taking up space in this world and hopefully inspiring others to do so as well.
